Company Overview
Founded in 2023, Studio Jam is an independent creative studio focused on harnessing curated marketing efforts across all marketing channels. We specialize in Brand Design, Web Development, and Social Media management, and are known for our hands-on, hospitable approach to marketing.
Position Overview
This position is a part-time Social Media + Content Coordinator role managing day-to-day social media for a handful of Studio Jam clients. You will plan the content, write it in each client's voice, get it approved, schedule it, and stay in the comments once it posts. You will also be the person our clients hear from most between meetings, so staying organized and following up quickly is a big part of the job.
This position was created to fill the gaps between studying and the work force; essentially, I want to provide everything I wish I had when I was going through my IMC degree at Ole Miss. It's ideal for Marketing, IMC, Journalism, Hospitality, and Entrepreneur focused degrees.
This role is hybrid: mostly remote, with on-site shoots and events around Oxford. It works on an as-needed basis, but ensures monthly projects and one-on-one mentorship. Pay is hourly and discussed on our first call, with no set number of hours per week. Hours are client-dependent, which leaves room for the growth opportunity described below.*
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for a handful of client accounts
- Build monthly content calendars in HeyOrca and send them to clients for approval
- Write captions in each client's voice
- Post stories in real time at events, game days, and launches
- Spend 10 to 15 minutes a day on each account replying to comments and DMs and engaging with local and partner accounts
- Edit simple reels from client footage in CapCut and design graphics in Canva
- Film content on site at client shoots and events
- Keep a running list of content ideas and filming needs for each client
- Join client meetings, take notes, and send the recap with next steps
- Pull monthly numbers for client recaps and help with email newsletters as needed
- Cover a teammate's accounts when they are out
Weekly Workflow
Weekly schedules are dependent on client needs and your personal schedule. Most weeks include building and scheduling posts, daily engagement on each account, and a client check-in or two. We will discuss dates at the beginning of the month prior, that way you know ahead of time what you will make!
Trial Project
Before anything is locked in, we start with a paid trial project with one of our clients. The purpose is a mutual feel-out: you get a real sense of the client, the workflow, and the job, and we get a sense of how we work together. No obligation on either side beyond that project.
Additional Perks
- Bonus pay for additional photoshoots outside of client work (one-off projects, or as I like to call them, Wildcards)
- Hands-on experience across multiple brands and industries
- Direct mentorship and collaboration with a growing creative studio
- Bonus + commission potential after 6-week trial period
*Growth Opportunity
Because hours are client-dependent rather than fixed, there is real room to grow here. By working directly with Alise to seek out and contact new clients, you have the opportunity to earn a percentage of those accounts as you manage them.
This role also has the potential to transition into a full-time position, which would include:
- Expanded hours
- Continued flexible schedule (Fridays and most weekends off)
- Salary-based compensation (to be discussed)
- Dedicated focus on Studio Jam clients and internal growth
How to Apply

I am beyond excited to work with you, and I hope you are ready to have some fun and learn a ton!
Cheers!
