Position Overview
CD Designs is looking for a creative, self-motivated individual to assist with social media management and hands-on floral and event work. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that would be a great fit for someone looking for additional work, a creative side opportunity, or experience in the wedding and event industry.
The ideal candidate has an understanding of social media platforms, enjoys creating content, and has a creative eye for photography and design. This individual will help manage and grow the online presence of Claire Dennis Designs while also assisting with floral projects and events.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Assist with managing and maintaining social media accounts, primarily Instagram and TikTok.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging social media content, including reels, stories, and posts.
- Capture photos and videos of floral arrangements, weddings, and behind-the-scenes projects.
- Assist with content planning, scheduling, and writing captions.
- Stay current with social media trends and identify opportunities to grow brand awareness and engagement.
* Help maintain a consistent and visually appealing online presence.
Floral Design & Event Assistance
- Assist with flower processing, preparation, and arrangement.
- Learn hands-on floral design techniques and assist with creating custom arrangements.
- Help prepare, transport, and set up florals for weddings and events.
- Assist with event styling, installations, and breakdowns as needed.
- Help with day-of wedding coordination.
Qualifications
- Experience with Instagram, TikTok, and social media content creation.
- Comfortable creating and editing photos and videos.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Interest in weddings, events, flowers, and the creative industry.
Previous experience managing social media accounts or creating content is preferred. Floral experience is not required. Training and hands-on guidance with floral design will be provided.
