Southern Utah University’s (SUU) Community & Workforce Development (CWD) department is expanding regional capacity to alleviate poverty across Utah’s rural counties through the Economic Opportunity Through Education project. The VISTA Social Media & Marketing Coordinator builds sustainable digital outreach infrastructure by creating educational pathway brand toolkits, multi-channel distribution networks, marketing analytics dashboards, and mobile-friendly web UX overhauls. Low-income and rural adult learners across Utah face significant information gaps regarding accessible micro-credentials and career training. To bridge this divide, the VISTA member performs indirect capacity-building activities that establish scalable, digital, and localized marketing systems for CWD.

Member Duties : The VISTA Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will build the capacity of Southern Utah University (SUU) Community & Workforce Development (CWD) to reduce poverty across 25 rural counties by establishing scalable digital marketing and recruitment systems. Operating strictly in an indirect, capacity-building role, the member will expand awareness of micro-credentials for low-income learners through four core initiatives.
