Role Description The Crypto and Blockchain Content Writer is a contract, on-site role based in Tonopah, AZ. This role involves researching developments in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, DeFi, NFTs, and related Web3 trends, and converting complex concepts into clear, engaging content. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing articles, blog posts, technical explainers, marketing copy, and thought leadership pieces tailored to technical and non-technical audiences. The individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align content with product positioning and brand voice, optimize content for SEO and digital channels, and maintain an editorial calendar. The role also requires staying current with industry news, ensuring factual accuracy, and consistently meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong writing skills for crypto and blockchain topics, including web content, blogs, and long-form articles.
- Ability to research complex technical concepts and present them in accessible, accurate language for varied audiences.
- Experience creating content for digital marketing channels, including SEO-oriented copy and social media content.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency ecosystems, blockchain architecture, smart contracts, wallets, exchanges, and DeFi platforms.
- Excellent editing and proofreading capabilities with attention to detail, structure, and tone consistency.
- Comfort collaborating with product, marketing, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience writing for fintech, crypto, or technology-focused publications or companies is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated portfolio of published crypto/blockchain content or technical writing samples.
- Ability to work on-site in Tonopah, AZ and manage multiple projects with clear deadlines.
