Location
This position will be fully remote.
Employment Type
This is a contractor position, with the hours of availability 9am-3:30pm ET Monday through Friday. One can expect about 15-20 hours a week to start. There is a mandatory team huddle Monday through Friday at 10am ET. We do collaborate often so ET is highly preferable.
Compensation
$40-55/hour
POSITION OBJECTIVES
- Collaborate with the creative team in the production of various branding, print, digital, event and experience, and informative solutions
- Deliver on our company's brand promise and values
- Build a strong relationship with the team and clients
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain company communication standards, turnaround times, deadlines, and review process
- Confidently develop solutions for branding, print, digital, event & experience design, and informational design
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure designs meet the company quality standards of "how we do it here," are visually consistent, and solve the client’s visual problem
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
- Easy to communicate with and extremely detail-oriented
- Think like a problem-solver, not an order-taker
- Desire to work with a vast roster of clients, across a span of industries
- Ability to work and communicate in a highly collaborative, inclusive team environment
REQUIRED TACTICAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years real-world design experience (with work samples to back it up)
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of WordPress is an added bonus
- Willing to work in PowerPoint and MailChimp from time to time
- Experience with layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, branding, print, digital, event and experience, and informative solutions
- Openness to learning, adapting, and growing alongside our creative team
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
