Are you passionate about sports, youth development, and community networking? Our basketball club is seeking energetic Community Scouts to help power our programs, team travel, equipment, and player scholarships!
As a Community Scout, you will be our grassroots representative connecting with local businesses, corporate sponsors, and community donors. Your mission is to secure financial sponsorships, tournament entry funding, and in-kind support for our teams. This is a 100% flexible, work-anytime, commission-based role—ideal for self-starters who want to turn their hustle into uncapped earnings while supporting local basketball.
Key Responsibilities
* Local Business Outreach: Identify and visit local businesses, restaurants, sporting goods stores, and corporate offices to introduce our basketball club's vision and impact.
* Pitch Sponsorship Packages: Present clear sponsorship tiers (e.g., jersey logo placements, banner sponsorships at home games, social media shoutouts, player gear sponsorships) to business owners and decision-makers.
* Fundraising & Donations: Collect monetary contributions and in-kind donations (e.g., drinks, meal vouchers, training equipment, venue discounts).
* Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships with local sponsors, ensuring they feel valued and updated on team achievements.
* Lead Tracking & Reporting: Log your visits, manage follow-ups, and submit completed sponsorship contracts accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Basketball/Sports Fan (Preferred): Understanding of youth or competitive sports culture is a plus!
* Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit businesses within the local community.
* Smartphone Access: A mobile phone or tablet to record client details, log sponsorships, and issue digital receipts on the go.
