Stonegate Union Foods Group makes packaged foods for regional grocers, and the people who keep our plants running use software that was built for accountants. We are contracting a UX designer in Tulsa to redesign the screens our line supervisors use to schedule shifts and log downtime. What you will do
- Spend your first two weeks on the plant floor watching how supervisors really use the current system.
- Sketch, prototype and test new flows with five or six supervisors at a time.
- Hand finished designs to our two developers and stay for the build. What we need
- A portfolio with at least one internal or operations tool, not only consumer apps.
- Comfort designing for gloved hands, shared tablets and glare. The contract is on-site in Tulsa, for about four months, with a possible extension.
