We are seeking an exceptional cinematic storyteller to write a 3–5 minute, voice-over-led
client-experience film for a luxury custom-home visualization. This is not conventional
real-estate copywriting. It is an opportunity to transform a homeowner’s aspirations
and approved design into an elegant, emotionally resonant cinematic narrative.
Engagement: Paid, high-priority project engagement; open to freelance writers,
independent creatives, agencies, or studios with the right lead storyteller
Work arrangement: Remote; applicants worldwide welcome. U.S. time-zone overlap is
preferred, but exceptional talent matters more than location.
Start: As soon as possible
Compensation: Proposal-based. Please submit a fixed-fee or rate proposal.
The opportunity:
We are seeking an exceptional Cinematic Screenwriter & Storyteller to create the
narration-led story for a new kind of luxury custom-home client experience.
This is not conventional real-estate copywriting and not a property listing video. The work is
a cinematic presentation of an approved luxury custom-home design—taking homeowners
from property line to property line, through the architecture, interiors, and landscape, and
showing how the final design answers the life they imagined.
The successful writer will turn a homeowner’s intentions, priorities, and aspirations into a
3–5 minute voice-over-led cinematic experience: elegant, restrained, emotionally uplifting,
and aspirational. The finished narration should make a client feel heard, deepen their
certainty in a meaningful future investment, and create genuine joy and excitement about
what is being designed for them.
The first project is a high-priority paid engagement. For the right collaborator, it may
become a long-term creative partnership supporting future luxury custom-home
storytelling.
What you will create:
Within 14 days of engagement, subject to timely access to approved inputs and feedback,
you will develop and refine:
• Multiple cinematic story-concept options;
• A recommended treatment and narrative approach;
• A polished, voice-over/narration-led screenplay for a 3–5 minute cinematic clientexperience
film; and
• A scene-by-scene visual narrative or beat guide that identifies the architectural, interiordesign,
and landscape moments the narration should highlight and how those
moments should synchronize with the script.
The visual beat guide should give a video editor and visualization team meaningful story
direction without attempting to replace their creative or technical expertise.
How you will work:
After appropriate screening and confidentiality steps, you will synthesize approved
homeowner priorities, discovery materials, and final design information. You will
collaborate with a multidisciplinary custom-home design team to confirm approved plans,
understand significant changes since initial discovery, and ensure the script speaks to the
homeowners’ current mindset and expectations.
The initial creative process is:
1. Concept options;
2. Treatment;
3. Final screenplay and visual beat guide.
The owner/creative lead will provide final approval at each stage. Expect a kickoff call,
scheduled review calls at each approval gate, and a professional commitment to respond to
feedback within one business day. The exact revision approach should be proposed as part
of your submission and finalized in the engagement scope.
What excellence looks like:
You may be a screenwriter, brand-film writer, creative director, narrative strategist, or
premium-experience storyteller. Direct luxury-residential experience is valuable, but it is
not the only path to this role. We welcome writers with demonstrably comparable work in
premium hospitality, automotive, travel, design, architecture, fashion, wellness, or other
high-consideration experiences.
You must be able to demonstrate:
• Exceptional command of English and the ability to write sophisticated, natural,
emotionally precise voice-over narration;
• A refined understanding of the tone and aspirations associated with South Florida
luxury custom homes;
• Strong fundamentals in story structure, pacing, voice, emotional payoff, and cinematic
visual storytelling;
• The ability to translate complex design decisions into language that feels personal,
clear, and inspiring—not technical, generic, or promotional;
• Comfort collaborating with designers and project managers while absorbing direction
and protecting the integrity of the client’s story;
• Excellent communication, reliability, and capacity to meet an accelerated 14-day
delivery window; and
• Professional discretion and willingness to work with confidential materials and
engagement terms addressing ownership and permitted use of deliverables.
Thoughtful use of AI tools is welcome. However, AI must support—not substitute for—your
own creative judgment, writing fundamentals, originality, and emotional intelligence.
Who is unlikely to be a fit:
This opportunity is not suited to applicants whose work is generic, overly sales-driven, or
evidently generated without human narrative judgment. We will not move forward with
candidates who cannot meet the schedule, communicate clearly, provide emotionally
sophisticated samples, or work professionally with confidentiality and ownership
requirements.
How to apply:
Please submit all of the following:
1. One to three relevant narration, screenplay, or cinematic storytelling samples.
Brand films and premium-experience work are welcome; briefly identify your precise
contribution to each sample.
2. A short note on your approach: How would you turn a homeowner’s wish list and
approved custom-home design into a voice-over-led cinematic experience that feels
elegant, personal, and emotionally resonant?
3. Availability: Confirm your ability to begin promptly and participate in the 14-day
concept-to-screenplay process.
4. Your commercial proposal: State your fixed fee or rate, what it includes, and your
proposed revision approach.
5. Relevant portfolio link(s) and your primary working time zone.
Selected finalists will be invited to complete a short, paid writing test based on a fictional,
non-confidential luxury-home brief. The test is intended to confirm storytelling fit and
working chemistry before a final selection.
