Our Client is hiring an Organic Social Media Manager & Content Creator to build the brand’s organic social presence from the ground up and turn millions of customers into a community.
Location: Central Kentucky (hybrid, split between home and the brand’s manufacturing facility)
About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing, mission-driven home care brand that created its category and leads it today. They make their products in their own US factory, have millions of customers, and sell direct to consumer, on Amazon, and at major national retailers. The brand is built around clean, safe ingredients, and giving back is part of the business model, with a large product donation program supporting shelters and disaster relief.
Role Overview
Their performance marketing engine is strong. Organic social has never been a priority, until now. This is the brand’s first Lead Social Creator, building consumer pull that complements paid, starting from close to zero and with the full backing of the CMO and founder. You’ll be the face of the brand on social, but part of an ensemble. The factory is full of real people with real personality, and the goal is recurring characters from the plant floor showing up alongside you. You’ll have a huge library of winning paid content and b-roll to mine, an editing team behind you, and clear accountability for reach, views, and engagement. Some days you’ll be editing and planning from home, other days you’ll be filming on the shop floor.
What You’ll Do
- Build organic from scratch: Own the brand’s organic social strategy and output, roughly 80% focused on brand positioning with maximum impression efficiency and 20% on building a fun, cool brand universe people want to be part of.
- On-camera and behind it: Create content hands-on, in front of the camera, behind it, and with AI tools, alongside plant employees as a recurring cast.
- Mine what already works: Dig through the brand’s library of top-performing paid social content and b-roll and adapt the winners to perform in organic.
- Brief editors with precision: Give the editing team tight direction on hooks, transitions, and pacing so every cut lands the way you pictured it.
- Research and adapt trends: Track what’s working for other brands and creators and translate it into on-brand content, with a sharp eye on hooks, dwell time, and engagement.
- Own the numbers: Drive organic impressions per dollar, engagement rate, and weekly content output, and diagnose what’s working so results compound month over month.
- Report by theme: Categorize content by strategic theme and report back on mix and performance so the team knows what to double down on.
- Tell the real stories: Bring the factory, the brand’s giving program, and cleaning education about harsh big-brand chemicals to life in ways people want to watch and share.
Who You Are
- You’ve grown an audience as a social creator, ideally for a CPG, DTC, or retail brand, with a real track record on Instagram and TikTok.
- You have on-camera energy and personality that people gravitate toward.
- You get content and trends, and you pair that with an analytical mindset that uses the data to diagnose and improve performance.
- You think like a performance marketer about hooks, tension, dwell time, and engagement.
- You’re down to earth and just as comfortable on a factory floor with plant employees as you are in a content meeting.
- You have a portfolio that shows creativity and resourcefulness, not just polish.
- You move fast, ship often, and like being measured on results.
- You live in or near central Kentucky, or are open to relocating, and can be at the plant for filming days.
This role is ideal for a high-energy creator with performance instincts who wants to build a beloved brand’s social presence from day one, the way Scrub Daddy, Poppi, and Javy did.
