Role Description
We are seeking a creative, self-motivated college student or recent graduate to serve as our Content Creator & Social Media Assistant. This is a part-time, independent contractor (1099) role with a flexible schedule.
You will work directly with our founder on active job sites as needed, capturing photos and videos of projects in progress, equipment work, and on-camera explanations. On your own schedule, you will turn that footage into polished content and keep our channels active and consistent. No formal film training is required. We value initiative, creativity, and a strong feel for what works on social media.
Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content on active job sites
- Edit short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Write captions and short-form copy in a consistent brand voice
- Schedule posts and monitor engagement and comments
- Generate content ideas based on current trends and upcoming projects
- Create simple graphics using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
- Track performance and share monthly recommendations with leadership
Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate (any major)
- Basic filming and editing skills (phone-based editing is welcome)
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms and current trends
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Organized and reliable, with the ability to meet deadlines independently
- Comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Aledo and Weatherford area, or availability to ride along from our office to job sites
Preferred
- Personal camera, phone rig, or editing software
- Prior content you’ve created, whether personal, school, or freelance
- Experience with Canva or basic graphic design
- Interest in construction, real estate, aviation, or business

Compensation
$600–$1,000 per month based on content output, paid as an independent contractor (1099). Compensation is reviewed as channels grow.
Location: Aledo, TX (on-site at job sites throughout the Aledo, Weatherford, and west Fort Worth area)
