About the ProjectWe are developing an independent feature film and are seeking a talented, imaginative screenwriter to help shape an original cinematic project from concept through screenplay development.
We are interested in connecting with writers who have a strong understanding of storytelling, compelling character development, and the ability to translate an idea into an engaging screenplay. We welcome applications from established screenwriters as well as emerging talent with exceptional ideas, fresh perspectives, and a strong passion for filmmaking.
Applicants with existing screenplays or film concepts that may be suitable for an independent feature film are also encouraged to reach out. We are open to evaluating original material alongside developing a new script from the ground up.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a feature-film project being developed in Los Angeles, working alongside a production team to bring a compelling story to the screen.
Key Responsibilities● Develop an original screenplay, either from an initial concept or through the expansion of an existing story idea.
● Create engaging characters, authentic dialogue, and a compelling narrative structure.
● Develop a clear beginning, middle, and end, with strong pacing and a coherent dramatic arc.
● Research relevant subject matter, settings, and themes to support the story's authenticity.
● Collaborate with the producer and director throughout the development process.
● Incorporate constructive feedback and participate in screenplay revisions.
● Consider production feasibility, including locations, cast requirements, and budgetary limitations.
● Deliver screenplay drafts and revisions according to agreed project milestones.
● Help ensure the final screenplay supports a cohesive creative vision for the film.

● A completed screenplay, writing sample, short-film script, or original film concept.
● The ability to develop ideas into a structured, engaging narrative.

● An interest in independent filmmaking and the opportunity to develop original material.
Professional screenwriting experience is welcome but not essential. First-time screenwriters with exceptional writing samples or compelling original concepts will be considered.
