Springfield City Lifestyle is seeking a talented, organized editorial professional to support writing, editing and production coordination for our monthly print and digital lifestyle publication.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys discovering compelling local stories, has a strong editorial eye and can bring quality content from concept through publication.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in magazine writing, journalism, editorial production or communications
- Strong feature writing, interviewing and storytelling skills
- Excellent editing, copyediting and proofreading abilities
- Command of grammar, punctuation, AP style and editorial consistency
- Ability to strengthen articles while preserving each writer's voice
- Experience coordinating writers, photographers and editorial assignments
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Attention to factual accuracy, names, quotes and captions
- Initiative, resourcefulness and dependable follow-through
- Familiarity with Springfield and the surrounding communities
Position Details
Part-time contract opportunity with flexible scheduling and recurring monthly assignments.
