Role Description
This is a part-time, project based on-site role for a Freelance Graphic Designer at SafetyVibe, Inc. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating graphics, designing logos, developing branding materials, and working on typography projects for our customers which consist of mainly industrial and construction type companies.
Qualifications
- Graphics and Graphic Design skills
- Logo Design and Branding experience for promotional items such as PPE, T-shirts, cups, pens etc.
- Strong Typography skills
- Ensure high-quality, visually appealing designs that meet client specifications.
- Provide ongoing support for design requests from clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicating with the Safetyvibe team and our customers.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A creative portfolio showcasing previous design projects
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Challenges to address:
- Clients may provide low-resolution logos that need to be vectorized for printing.
- The designer must work efficiently to meet fast turnaround times for client requests.
- The designer must be able to handle varying levels of client preparedness and design requirements.
System, Tools, and/or Infrastructure:
- The designer will need to handle various design tasks for promotional items.
- The designer should be proficient in vectorizing logos and creating print-ready designs.
Technical Skills or Certifications:
- Proficiency in graphic design and vectorization.
- Experience with logo design and promotional items.
- Strong background in creating high-quality visual content.
Industry or Domain Knowledge:
- Experience in designing for industrial and construction-related clients is a plus.
- Familiarity with promotional item design is a plus.
Desired Client Timeline for Project Completion:
- Start as soon as possible.
- The work will be ongoing, with requests coming in as needed.
Time Commitment:
- Please note that work is project based as customer request come in, therefore we cannot guarantee hours every week. However, we are busy and the designer can expect anywhere from 5-20 hours a week.
