Job Title: RFP Analyst
Location-Type: Hybrid - Baltimore, MD (4 days/week onsite)
Work Hours: 40 hours/week, 8:30 AM-5 PM EST
Start Date Is: ASAP (approximately 2 weeks from offer)
Duration: 8-Month Contract with potential extensions up to 2 years

Job Description:
- Manage RFPs, RFIs, and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from initial review through final submission in support of retirement plan business development.
- Develop, write, and tailor compelling proposal responses for prospective retirement plan clients.
- Leverage approved content from Responsive and internal resources while customizing responses to address specific prospect needs and questions.
- Research retirement plan products, services, capabilities, and industry topics to develop accurate and thoughtful responses.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to research and develop responses to complex or nonstandard questions.
- Translate technical, product, and retirement plan information into clear, concise, client-facing content.
- Review and edit proposal content based on feedback from RFP editors and internal business partners.
- Coordinate across multiple teams to gather information and ensure responses are accurate, consistent, and complete.
- Manage multiple RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs simultaneously while meeting established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience within the retirement plan / defined contribution industry.
- Hands-on experience developing and writing responses to RFPs, RFIs, and/or DDQs.
- Strong writing, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Experience researching complex topics and translating information into clear, client-focused responses.
- Familiarity with Responsive or a similar proposal/content management platform.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through.
- Collaborative communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally with SMEs and business partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience writing proposals specifically for retirement plan advisors, consultants, plan sponsors, or institutional clients.
- Experience with Responsive.
- Strong knowledge of retirement plan products, services, recordkeeping, and/or defined contribution solutions.
