In this role, you'll work directly alongside field teams in an industrial environment, documenting processes, collecting data, and creating clear, user-friendly documentation that enables long-term success.
This is a hands-on position that combines field observation, technical documentation, and process improvement. You'll have the opportunity to build the playbook that future sites will follow.

- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for data collection activities
- Create documentation standards, required data fields, and SAP-ready output formats
- Build practical field tools such as checklists, decision guides, quality assurance processes, and job aids
- Document site onboarding procedures, access requirements, safety protocols, and mobilization processes
- Gather lessons learned and continuously improve documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage document revisions, version control, and final deliverables that can be used independently by facility teams
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience writing SOPs, technical procedures, work instructions, or operational documentation
- Proven ability to learn unfamiliar technical processes and translate them into clear, easy-to-follow documentation
- Comfortable working onsite in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability to complete site-specific safety onboarding requirements
- Active TWIC Card
- Working knowledge of SAP
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fertilizer, chemical processing, bulk terminal, manufacturing, or heavy industrial facilities
- Background supporting maintenance, reliability, asset management, or operations teams
- Familiarity with SAP PM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Experience performing field data collection and asset documentation
Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, asking questions, understanding how systems and equipment operate, and turning complex processes into clear documentation. You'll play a key role in creating repeatable standards that support operational excellence across multiple facilities.
