CinemaBlend seeks an enthusiastic entertainment fanatic to write news articles. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated wordsmiths with up-to-date knowledge of the entertainment industry and an appetite for movies and entertainment.
We're looking for someone who's up for writing on a variety of movie, TV, celebrity and streaming-related topics, has a good sense of humor, pays attention to details, and writes with a fun, conversational tone.
What To Know About The Role Before You Apply:
- This is a freelance telecommute position.
- U.S. applicants only, please. And you must be over 18 years old to apply.
- Freelancers are paid a per-article rate.
- You will be asked to write news articles about a variety of entertainment-related topics.
- Specific hours of availability will be flexible but we are looking for someone who can write on weekdays.
- We are looking for 25 articles per month.
- You will be asked to commit to a specific number of submissions per week, and adhere to that commitment.
- This specific freelance writing position is for news articles.
Some writing experience is required.
A journalism degree is not required, but we will want to see published articles from an online outlet, preferably related to movies or TV.
We expect a quick turnaround on all article assignments, so we're looking for someone who's good with details, knows the industry and can submit clean copy.
