Technical Writer
Location: Seneca, South Carolina (Remote)
Alternate Location: Columbia, SC
Role Overview
An experienced Technical Writer is being sought to support a large-scale healthcare technology modernization project. This role involves working with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, and technical teams to create and maintain business and technical documentation, project deliverables, executive communications, and materials for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain project documentation, technical artifacts, and business deliverables.
- Work with business and technical teams to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Develop diagrams, visual aids, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Organize and maintain project documentation repositories, including SharePoint.
- Support project teams by documenting requirements, processes, design discussions, and project outcomes.
- Update documentation as project requirements and priorities evolve.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience, including the development of structured documentation and presentations.
- 3+ years of technical writing experience.
- Experience creating documentation for both technical and business audiences.
- 3+ years of SharePoint experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong written communication, editing, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing RFPs, Advanced Planning Documents, or other formal project documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies.
- Experience with Bizagi.
- Experience supporting government or large enterprise environments.

- Ability to communicate with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
- Attention to detail and document organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience simplifying complex technical information for diverse audiences.
