• Create how to guides, Tech Tips, Quick Reference Guides, FAQs, job aids, training materials, and other end user resources.
• Partner with IT subject matter experts, project teams, service owners, managers, and business stakeholders to gather information and document systems, workflows, processes, and procedures.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and practical content for employees, managers, support teams, and other audiences.
• Develop communications and enablement materials for technology launches, software implementations, feature releases, enterprise rollouts, security initiatives, and service improvements.
• Create and maintain IT intranet and knowledge base content, ensuring information is accurate, current, organized, and easy to navigate.

• Support technology adoption and change enablement through clear and actionable content.
• Review and improve existing documentation for consistency, readability, accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with organizational standards and style guidelines.
• Support documentation governance, templates, version control, content standards, document lifecycle management, and knowledge management initiatives.
• Manage multiple documentation and content projects while balancing deadlines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate across IT and business teams while proactively communicating progress, risks, and potential issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• 4 or more years of professional experience in technical writing, technical communications, knowledge management, documentation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience creating technical documentation, user guides, process documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, or similar content.
• Strong technical writing, editing, proofreading, and content development skills.
• Experience gathering information from technical subject matter experts and translating complex information into clear, easy to understand content.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non technical audiences.

• Experience working within an IT department, service delivery organization, or technology focused project environment.
• Experience creating and maintaining knowledge bases, intranet content, online documentation, or learning materials.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, or other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content development practices.
• Experience with change management, ITIL, business analysis, project management, or technology adoption initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, Education, Business, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or a related field.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, curious problem solver, and effective communicator who can listen, ask the right questions, understand technical information, and turn it into content people can actually use.
You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with technical experts, project teams, IT leaders, and business stakeholders. Strong organization, attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to manage competing priorities are important for success in this role.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position based in Irvine, California, with a mostly remote schedule.
The expectation is that the successful candidate will work from the Irvine office approximately 4 to 5 times per month. There may also be occasions when business needs require you to come into the office on shorter notice, so flexibility to accommodate occasional in person needs is important.
