A leading company is hiring a Lead Technical Writer to join their team. This temp role offers an opportunity to develop comprehensive technical documentation focused on data center operations and management. Type: Contract, Hybrid in Addison, TX
Schedule: Regular day hours
Duration: 12+ months / 1+ years
Pay: $70 - $80/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible
Lead Technical Writer Responsibilities:
- Develop complete technical documents related to data center activities, including operations, construction, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Produce executive briefings, newsletters, and presentation decks quickly, with first drafts within 1-5 business days.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of all content.
- Assist in promoting internal product knowledge across the client's digital platform and participate in external speaking events about Customer Zero stories.
- Review and refine technical documents for clarity, consistency, and professional presentation.
Lead Technical Writer Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant and strong technical writing skills in English with B2+ proficiency level.
- Experience creating technical documents related to data center operations, management, construction, inventory, and supply chain.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams and subject matter experts.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Experience in developing executive communication and presentations for VP/Director audiences.
