Key Responsibilities
- Graphic Design & Conceptualization: Create custom designs for client projects, including company logos, business stationery, forms, marketing collateral, banners, and window graphics.
- Preflight & Print Setup: Prepare artwork for print production—ensuring proper bleeds, crop marks, vector/bitmap formatting, color profiles, and file impositions.
- Client Collaboration: Communicate with clients in person, by phone, or via email to understand project requirements, present proofs, and make layout adjustments.
- Digital Press Setup: Send approved design files to digital presses using RIP software (Fiery Command WorkStation) and maintain organized client digital asset libraries.
- Production Support: Assist with light digital print runs and sample proofs as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
- Proven graphic design portfolio with a strong grasp of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Demonstrated understanding of print design standards (CMYK vs. RGB, vector vs. raster, bleed/trim specs).
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a positive, client-focused attitude.
- Prior print shop, quick-copy, or pre-press experience is a major plus.
Perks & Benefits
- Flexible schedule tailored to fit your availability (Daytime hours, Monday–Friday)
- Competitive hourly pay rate
- Opportunity to gain hands-on commercial print production experience
- Potential for role growth as project volume increases
