Are you ready to shape the future of athletic footwear by transforming consumer insights into cutting-edge material innovations? As a consultative creative partner for an iconic global sportswear brand, you will lead end-to-end material design strategies that bridge emotional narrative, performance, and sustainable design across core product lines.
Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end material design strategies across core product lines to elevate the consumer experience and strengthen brand equity.
- Partner with cross-functional design, product management, and development teams to translate market insights into trend-relevant product solutions.
- Champion sustainable material innovations and emotive storytelling techniques to deliver high-visibility, forward-thinking product narratives.
- Conceptualize and execute 3D digital renderings and physical mockups to validate complex design concepts and streamline development workflows.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in innovative footwear or technical apparel design, or a Bachelor's degree in Design with equivalent industry experience.
- Specialized expertise in material development, color theory, human factors, and advanced 3D sample building or hand-mockups.
- Proven track record of translating consumer insights into market-leading product designs and sustainable material solutions.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills with a collaborative mindset to lead high-impact design partnerships.
