Overview
Arguably the best job on the mountain, the Sugarloaf Mountain Reporter literally gets to ski or ride every day and then share the experience virtually with Sugarloafers around the globe through the Daily Report, social media, photo/video, and other interactions. The right candidate for this job will be reliable, creative, outgoing, have excellent written and oral communications skills, a passion for sharing the Sugarloaf experience through photos, and will be able to comfortably ski or ride anywhere on the mountain.
This winter season role is expected to start at an hourly wage of $16-19 and will work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions. This position comes with great job perks and endless support from an incredible team.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- preparing accurate and up-to-date snow and conditions reports in creative and compelling ways
- updating our website and social media channels
- collaborating with the Content Supervisor and Senior Photographer/Videographer to engage on social networking sites such as Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and the resort blog.
- capturing awe-inspiring photo and video of all things Sugarloaf.
Additional responsibilities may also include assisting in other communications efforts such as creating written content for resort publications, hosting media representatives, assisting with events, and responding to direct inquiries from guests.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Must consider themselves a proficient writer and understand how to position “snow” to Sugarloafers.
- Proficient understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
- Experience capturing photo and video content using a camera
- Proficient in Microsoft & Adobe Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
- Experience managing website content in a content management system (preferred but not required)
- Skillset must include the ability to multi-task and complete projects on-time.
- Prior ski resort experience
- Must consider themselves an intermediate/advanced skier or rider
