Description

Our client in the print & packaging space is looking for a hands on Project Manager to join their team fulltime! This role will require 5 days a week on site in Niles IL.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the leading CPG packaging manufacturers in a hands-on role owning and managing the production process for around 20 clients!

The Project Manager will be responsible for:
Preparing required documentation for all phases of a project including: job tickets, purchase orders, cost reports, billing, status trackers etc.
Lead pre-production meetings
Review purchase orders, proposals and job specifications
Identify and manage outside vendors

The Project Manager must have:
5+ years project management experience in a print production or related setting
- Must have experience working on specialty printing items such as packaging, foil stamping, embossing - they are not looking for someone with direct mail experience
Previous experience with Pre-Press, Pressroom and Bindery
Strong understanding of print and design principles with working knowledge of end to end process
Monarch/EFI experience is preferred!
