Role Description
We're looking for Freelance Social Media Managers to help out with some upcoming client projects. This is a contract opportunity on an as-needed basis.
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing social media marketing campaigns, creating and implementing content strategies, optimizing social media channels, and writing engaging content. You will play a key role in driving brand awareness and engagement through social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Manage and oversee social media content across all platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Measure the success of every social media campaign and provide reports to management.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Use social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand.
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Provide constructive feedback to content creators.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
- Good understanding of social media KPIs.
- Familiarity with web design and publishing.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field.
