NYC) is a New York-based community advocacy organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence through holistic wellness, education, and outreach. The Role
We are looking for a Social Media & Digital Content Volunteer to join our team on a flexible, part-time, hybrid basis!
If you are a creative storyteller who loves building engaging digital communities and wants to use your skills for a meaningful cause, this role is for you. You’ll help us amplify survivor voices, share wellness resources, and bring our mission to life across our social channels.
What You'll Do
- Create & Collaborate: Design eye-catching, trauma-informed posts, stories, and short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn (using tools like Canva).
- Shape the Narrative: Plan simple, uplifting digital campaigns and share updates from our programs and community events.
- Engage the Community: Help monitor responses, interact with our followers, and build a warm, supportive online presence.
- Bring Your Ideas: Share your creative thoughts on how we can better connect with our audience and grow our community impact.
What We're Looking For
- Experience or a strong interest in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Familiarity with design platforms (Canva or similar).
- A compassionate, inclusive communication style and alignment with our mission.
- Reliability and the ability to collaborate effectively in a flexible, hybrid format.
