The Opportunity
Dimitra Designs is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Content Creator to work directly with our Operations & Marketing Director at our 15,000 sq ft bridal and formalwear destination in Greenville, SC.
This is an entry-level, execution-focused position and an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career creator who wants to build professional experience in social media, photography, short-form video, fashion, and retail marketing.
You will not be expected to develop our marketing strategy from scratch. Our Marketing Director will provide the strategy, brand direction and many of the content concepts. Your role is to help bring those ideas to life through strong visual content and consistent execution.
What You'll Do
- Create and publish content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.
- Shoot short-form video and Reels using a smartphone and/or camera.
- Photograph dresses, store moments, behind-the-scenes content and other visual assets.
- Edit video using tools such as CapCut, Instagram Reels or similar editing platforms.
- Turn designer-provided photography and video into fresh, engaging social content.
- Help capture customer testimonials and real in-store moments when appropriate.
- Assist with content shoots, including coordinating models, products and locations.
- Adapt content for different social platforms and formats.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to turn creative concepts into polished, brand-consistent content.
- Help maintain a consistent flow of social media content throughout the week.
What We're Looking For
You do not need years of agency experience. We care more about your creative eye, technical ability, reliability and willingness to learn.
You should have:
- Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok and short-form social video.
- Experience shooting and editing video on a smartphone.
- Working knowledge of photography fundamentals, including lighting, composition and framing.
- Experience with CapCut, Reels editing or similar video-editing tools.
- Good visual judgment and attention to detail.
- The ability to take creative direction and turn an idea into finished content.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving retail and fashion environment.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop or similar creative tools is a plus, but not required.
Work Samples Required
Please include a portfolio or examples of content you have created.
These may include Instagram or TikTok content, photography, Reels, short-form videos, school projects, internship work, freelance projects or personal creative work.
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Work Location
This is a 100% on-site position at Dimitra Designs in Greenville, SC. Because much of the content is created inside the store, this position cannot be performed remotely.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
