Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Social Media Video Editor & Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a passion for storytelling through video content. This role will primarily focus on producing compelling promotional videos, tutorials, and sizzles tailored for social media platforms. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the development of scripts, storyboards, and provide creative direction during shoots.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and animate video content using Premiere Pro and After Effects, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with client objectives and brand identity.
- Collaborate with team members to develop scripts and storyboards for various social media campaigns, tutorials, and promotional materials.
- Provide creative direction and support during shoots, including notetaking and reviewing video footage to compile highlights.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, stakeholders, and clients throughout pre- and post-production phases, ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Create long, medium, and short-form marketing materials optimized for social media platforms.
- Review and incorporate feedback on video drafts, making necessary revisions to meet client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media video editing and animation.
Desired Experience & Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing/animation and graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to thrive under multiple deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Adobe Audition, PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe XD, and HTML coding for websites and email is highly desirable.
- Portfolio showcasing previous work in social media video editing and animation is required.
