Graphic/Digital Designer Role Job Description
This position requires on-site availability; only applicants currently residing in Monmouth County NJ or the surrounding counties will be considered.
The Designer creates and finalizes graphic assets across digital platforms, ensuring content is optimized for web, e-commerce, and social media. This role supports the design, marketing, and e-commerce teams with layouts, photography, and branded content for campaigns, and promotions. The position is within the Graphics division of the Creative Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop email graphics, Meta/Google ads, GIFs, video ads, and product spotlights to support digital advertising and email campaigns
- Adapt and design visual assets across multiple formats, including social media posts, stories, reels, carousels, and web content
- Digital Graphic Renderings for Ecommerce
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all visual assets
- Balance multiple projects simultaneously, from quick turn to longer creative initiatives
- Receive and implement feedback effectively, adapting workflow as needed
- Packaging Design Concept & Layout knowledge a plus
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Figma, with experience in collaborative layout design and creative workflows
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as video editing tools like Premiere Pro or After Effects
- Skilled in photo editing with a strong eye for color, lighting, composition, and visual detail
- Strong design skills, both traditional print and digital
- Strong understanding of social media design best practices, including platform-specific specs and trends (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, X, Facebook)
- Ability to create and adapt assets across a range of formats: social posts, carousels, reels, stories, email graphics, and digital ads
- Sharp eye for layout, typography, and maintaining consistent brand visuals
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for planning, content calendars, and internal presentations
- Receptive to feedback with the ability to iterate and evolve designs based on creative direction
- Ability to articulate, understand, and translate assignments and communicate effectively
- Is an effective team member; supports the team by pitching in at any level
- Is respectful and open-minded, able to analyze and be critical of design work, including their own
- Solid knowledge of design principles
- Demonstrates clear communication in design presentations
- Collaborative, adaptable, and ready to support a dynamic, team-based workflow
- In-office position (5-day work week); this is not a remote role
Experience:
- 3–5 years of graphic design experience focused on social media, e-commerce, and digital content creation
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma with a strong foundation in layout, composition, and visual communication
- Degree in Graphic design or related field required
- Portfolio must show experience other than college projects
- Proven record of testing graphics across various media
The hourly range for this position is W2 $25-28/hr DOE. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
