Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager or Restaurant Consultant with a background in fine dining for a short-term project to assist in the development of an upscale social club / entertainment venue in New York City. The project involves developing an innovative new service model and steps of service that can accommodate service before, during, and after the entertainment. This position requires a blend of creativity, industry knowledge, and practical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a service model tailored to an upscale social club setting with integrated entertainment.
- Identify necessary front of house roles and create detailed job descriptions and interview guides for each position.
- Formulate a team structure that maximizes guest service quality while minimizing labor costs.
- Research and advise on competitive labor rates in New York City's fine dining and entertainment sectors.
- Propose a management structure that ensures seamless coordination and oversight of staff.
- Provide strategies for dynamic staffing levels to adapt to varying business volumes and service times.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Front of House Manager, preferably in fine dining and entertainment settings.
- Familiarity with the New York City fine dining and entertainment scene.
- Strong understanding of service dynamics in a high-end, entertainment-focused environment.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a talent for innovation in service delivery.
- Ability to work independently and adapt strategies in a dynamic project environment.
