Become the creative right hand behind a growing educational media brand in the chronic illness space.
Company: Independent Creator Studio
Location: Spokane Valley, WA (In Person)
Position Type: Part-Time Freelance (Independent Contractor)
Hours: 6-12 hours per week to start, with opportunity for more as the business grows
About the Role
I'm looking for a freelance Content Producer & Creative Coordinator to work alongside me on an ongoing basis.
I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 and I create educational content for the chronic illness community through YouTube, Instagram, and digital resources. I have no shortage of ideas. What I need is someone who enjoys turning those ideas into an organized plan and helping make sure they actually get created.
This is a unique role that blends content production, project coordination, creative brainstorming, and occasional hands-on support.
One day you might be organizing a filming schedule, setting up a tripod, brainstorming Reel ideas, or capturing B-roll. Another day you might be scheduling content, keeping projects on track, or watching my toddler for an hour while I film.
I'm looking for someone who genuinely understands social media culture. The kind of person who instinctively thinks,
"That would make a great Reel."
Someone who enjoys creating order from creative chaos and helping meaningful content reach more people.
Responsibilities
- Help prioritize weekly content based on our existing strategy
- Turn brainstorming sessions and idea dumps into an organized content plan
- Film YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, and B-roll using a smart phone
- Perform basic editing on Instagram or Edits
- Help organize and prepare filming days
- Brainstorm relatable content ideas and identify moments that would make engaging short-form content
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
- Keep projects organized and moving forward
- Assist with general behind-the-scenes business tasks
- Occasionally assist with childcare during filming sessions
You're Probably a Great Fit If You...

- You love turning lots of ideas into a realistic plan.
- You're highly organized without being rigid.
- You enjoy making other people's lives easier.
- You like creating order from creative chaos.
- You're proactive and don't need constant direction.
- You're dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
- You feel comfortable filming with a smartphone or DSLR, and basic equipment.
- You have reliable transportation and can work locally in Spokane Valley.
- You're comfortable around young children and don't mind occasionally entertaining my toddler/children while I film.
