Robert Half's client, a managed markets agency, is looking for a Senior Copywriter (Pharmaceutical/Payer Marketing):
- -20-30 hours/week with the potential to convert to full-time.
- -Remote for freelance, onsite in Northern NJ for quarterly meetings if this converts to full-time
Join a leading healthcare advertising team as a Senior Copywriter, developing compelling content for pharmaceutical and payer-focused audiences. This role is responsible for creating and editing promotional and educational materials, translating complex clinical data into clear, engaging messaging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic, medically accurate campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and proofread payer-focused pharmaceutical content across multiple channels
- Interpret clinical data and support claims during medical, legal, and regulatory review
- Participate in strategic planning and creative brainstorming sessions
- Conduct research and develop promotional and educational materials for payer audiences
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and style across all deliverables
- Collaborate with account, strategy, and creative teams to meet client objectives
- Manage projects through all phases of development and participate in client meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of pharmaceutical agency or healthcare communications experience
- Strong copywriting, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills
- Experience creating content for payer or payer-related audiences highly preferred
- Ability to balance creative thinking with strategic and scientific accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
The hourly range for this position is $60-85/hr on W2. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
