Position Summary
Magnum Electric is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer join our growing marketing team. This role is responsible for creating visual content that supports marketing, branding, advertising, digital communications, and print materials. The ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and a desire to grow professionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This position will primarily support our operations in Ellendale, ND, and requires spending approximately 50% of working time on-site in Ellendale. The remaining time may be spent at our West Fargo office or working on projects supporting the broader Magnum Electric team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design marketing materials including: brochures, flyers, advertisements, social media graphics, stickers, forms, safety signage, energization signs, company newsletters, and presentations.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles
- Create digital assets for websites, email campaigns, and online advertising.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to develop creative solutions.
- Assist with photography, image editing, and basic video graphics as needed.
- Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Incorporate feedback and revise designs as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
- This position will split time between Fargo, ND and Ellendale, ND
Preferred Qualifications
- Photography and basic image editing.
- Experience managing creative assets.
- Internship, freelance, or student design experience.
- Experience with WordPress
- Spanish Speaking

- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop content strategies and project priorities.
- Collaborate with field employees, safety personnel, operations teams, and company leadership.
- Assist in identifying and executing marketing, missing/inappropriate signage, and electronic opportunities across the organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Range: $42,000–$55,000 annually
