What You’ll Do:
- Ownership and development of content that supports and maintains a consistent brand voice for national marketing campaigns across multi-user channels
- Translating complex information and concepts into clear, engaging, and compliant content
- Expanding on and supporting campaign ideas, product claims, and stories that create an emotional connection with our target audiences
- Ensuring concept development and copy are within the parameters established by brand standards
- Soliciting and assimilating creative feedback, establishing priorities, and directing/implementing copy-related revisions
- Applying thought leadership to creative work; conveying creative rationale in writing and through brand presentations
- Maintaining and expanding current product content and related disease state knowledge
- Awareness of AMA and Chicago style guide rules, formatting, and practices
- Ability to fact-check and support work with citations and annotations as required by the brand
- Adhering to FDA and internal regulatory standards as required
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of copywriting experience at an in-house or advertising agency
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in verbal, written, or visual form to a variety of audiences, from the internal team to client executives
- Ability to move easily between high-level creative concepting and hands-on content writing
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Possess a strong understanding of SEO and its implementation
- Demonstrate a proven partnership with designers to enrich text with visuals and design
- Familiarity with compliance standards and patient-centered communication
- Ability to work under deadlines and to deliver amid changes in project direction
- Ability to meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints
- Ability to simplify complex information without losing accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and well-honed organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems
- Previous pharmaceutical industry writing experience is a plus
