This is a remote freelance opportunity with flexible assignments based on your expertise, interests, and original story ideas.
We're looking for contributors who bring original reporting, strong editorial judgment, and a unique perspective to every assignment.
What You'll Create

We're looking for contributors who can identify compelling stories, develop original ideas, and create work that informs, entertains, and sparks conversation.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience writing for established U.S. sports, news, culture, or entertainment publications.
- Strong portfolio of published work.
- Excellent storytelling and editorial judgment.
- Deep knowledge of one or more major U.S. sports (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, UFC, College Sports, etc.).
- Ability to pitch original story ideas and work independently.
- Experience conducting interviews is a strong plus.
- Video, podcast, newsletter, or multimedia production experience is highly valued.
- Ability to consistently meet editorial deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.
