The Role
Marcosm is an elite marketing agency specializing in high-ticket retainers within the diesel, motorsports, and e-commerce sectors. We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Social Media Manager to take ownership of the voice, scheduling, and community engagement for multiple high-ticket brand accounts simultaneously. You must possess an exceptional eye for detail, the ability to juggle several distinct brand voices, and the skill to write compelling, platform-native copy without needing your hand held.
Please note: This is a full-time, in-house, remote (work-from-home) position. We are not looking for fractional contractors or outside agencies.
The Culture & Creative Support: You will not be operating in a vacuum. You will work directly alongside our internal creative pod of professional videographers and graphic designers, grabbing their finished assets and getting them out to the world. However, having the hybrid ability to jump in and create your own quick graphics or video edits when needed is a massive plus. We are a tight-knit team that genuinely loves what we do.
To succeed here, you must have experience in or a strong passion for the automotive aftermarket industry. You need to understand the audience, the terminology, and what makes a gearhead stop scrolling.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Client Platform Ownership: Manage and execute daily posting schedules across Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram for multiple different companies. Experience using third-party social scheduling software is highly preferred, though not strictly required.
- Active Community Management: You will not just post and ghost. You are required to actively interact and engage with followers, respond to comments, answer DMs, and build community across all platforms for every brand we represent.
- Copywriting: Write engaging, accurate, and brand-specific captions tailored to the distinct voice of each client in our roster.
- Asset Coordination: Work seamlessly within ClickUp to retrieve finished assets from the creative pod, supplement with your own content creation when necessary, and stage everything for approval and distribution.
Application Filter: To apply, submit a portfolio of three brand accounts you currently manage or have managed, along with three examples of short-form video captions you have written for an automotive or product-based business.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- Remote & Travel: This is a remote, work-from-home position; however, some travel may be required to assist with on-site visual content experiences, automotive events, or team meetings.
- Automotive Aftermarket Experience: You must understand how to speak to the diesel and motorsports community.
- Proven ability to manage multiple brand accounts simultaneously without dropping the ball.
- Flawless copywriting skills with zero tolerance for typos or lazy formatting.
- Deep understanding of native platform algorithms, tagging, and community-building best practices.
