Role Description This is an on-site, contract role for a Freelance Graphic Designer based in Delhi, NY. The Graphic Designer will create visually compelling assets for social media, including static posts, carousels, reels covers, and short-form video graphics aligned with brand guidelines. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with strategists and copywriters, translating campaign concepts into design, and preparing files optimized for various platforms. The role also involves refining existing brand elements, maintaining visual consistency across channels, and delivering projects within agreed timelines. The designer will be expected to participate in feedback cycles, incorporate revisions, and contribute fresh ideas to enhance the visual identity of clients.
Qualifications
- Strong graphic design skills for social media, including layout, typography, color, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Experience designing assets tailored for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social platforms, with an understanding of current design trends.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt designs to different brand voices and visual identities.
- Solid portfolio showcasing social media design work, campaign graphics, and branding projects.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Delhi, NY, and engaging directly with team members and clients as needed.
- Relevant education or training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience is also valued.
