- Duration: 1-year contract August 2026-August 2027
- Pay: $50-55/hr

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a talented Graphic Design Technician to join its in-house creative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment where you'll support the production of high-quality packaging and marketing assets for a nationally recognized consumer brand.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a production-focused design role. You'll partner closely with designers, production specialists, and project managers to prepare accurate, press-ready files while ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce digital artwork and print-ready production files with exceptional accuracy.
- Create design variations and adapt existing key artwork across multiple formats.
- Ensure all files meet brand standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and print specifications.
- Maintain strong typography, layout, and production quality standards.
- Perform image retouching, color correction, and prepress preparation.
- Manage digital assets and file organization efficiently.
- Collaborate with creative, production, proofreading, and project management teams to meet deadlines.
- Troubleshoot production files and resolve technical issues as needed.
- Communicate proactively if timelines or project scopes are at risk.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Mac-based digital production experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of typography, color management, file preparation, and print production.
- Experience preparing files for flexographic and offset printing.
- Experience with packaging artwork and packaging dielines is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Sketch and Keynote is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- High school diploma required; additional college coursework is a plus.
