🏛️ We're Hiring: Correspondence Specialist (Federal Government Contract)

We're building our team to support a federal government agency, and we're looking for an experienced Correspondence Specialist to join us.

About the Role This is a remote, virtual position (with occasional in-person meetings as required) supporting correspondence management, records, and administrative workflow improvements for a government agency. You'll work across multiple correspondence tracking systems and help ensure timely, accurate processing of controlled correspondence and congressional/public inquiries.

What You'll Do 📌 Manage and optimize correspondence flow through multiple tracking systems 📌 Support Controlled Correspondence processing 📌 Draft, track, and quality-check correspondence and reports for accuracy and compliance 📌 Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for correspondence and records management 📌 Ensure Section 508 compliance on documents and digital content 📌 Support technical writing, content management, and SharePoint-based workflows 📌 Assist with project documentation, status reporting, and records management best practices

What We're Looking For ✅ Minimum 2+ years of experience with federal correspondence management systems ✅ Strong knowledge of federal records management requirements ✅ Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards ✅ Excellent technical writing skills — federal/government writing experience strongly preferred ✅ Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a virtual team environment ✅ Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint ✅ U.S. work authorization required; work must be performed within the United States

Nice to Have ⭐ Experience supporting natural resource preservation or similar federal/environmental agencies ⭐ Prior experience with federal agency correspondence systems ⭐ Background in quality control plans or performance-based service contracts
