POSITION OVERVIEW:
Foxcroft Food & Wine is seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee the brand's social media presence across both the Charlotte and Raleigh markets. This is a full-time role responsible for content strategy, content creation, publishing, community management, influencer coordination, and performance reporting across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, comfortable working independently, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities, new events, promotions, and business needs. We ask that the candidate is based in Charlotte.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Management
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with business goals, promotions, events, and seasonal initiatives.
- Publish and schedule 3–5 posts per week across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including collaboration posts between market accounts when appropriate.
- Create Facebook event pages for wine dinners, tastings, and special events.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely communication of upcoming events, promotions, and announcements.
- Maintain flexibility to adjust content plans based on changing business priorities, new events, weather, trending opportunities, or operational needs.
- Ensure all content aligns with Foxcroft’s brand standards and voice.
Content Creation
- Conduct on-site content shoots 1–2 times per month at Foxcroft locations to capture photo and video content for social media posts, stories, reels, and future campaigns.
- Identify content needs and proactively gather assets required to support the content calendar.
- Organize and maintain a searchable content library within shared folders.
- Build and manage a content bank for future use across both markets.
Influencer & Partnership Management
- Research local influencers, creators, and partnership opportunities within the Charlotte and Raleigh markets.
- Coordinate influencer visits, reservations, and hospitality experiences.
- Manage communication, deliverables, and follow-up reporting for influencer collaborations.
Community Management
- Monitor social media accounts daily.
- Respond to comments, direct messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage with user-generated content through likes, comments, reposts, and story shares.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track content performance, engagement metrics, audience growth, and campaign effectiveness.
- Analyze optimal posting times, content formats, and audience trends.
- Provide monthly reporting with key insights, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement.
This role requires regular on-site content creation in Charlotte and Raleigh, along with ongoing communication and collaboration with restaurant leadership and operations teams. Applicants should provide examples of relevant work, including social media accounts managed, and content creation examples.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience managing social media accounts for hospitality, restaurant, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok best practices.
- Experience creating short-form video content and social-first creative.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple locations and content calendars simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating influencer partnerships preferred.
- Photography and videography experience preferred.
