POSITION SUMMARY:
The Resource Development Assistant supports the multi-site fundraising, donor stewardship, community engagement, and marketing initiatives of the Club. This position plays a vital administrative and public-facing role across three designated site locations, ensuring database integrity, executing localized fundraising events, and expanding marketing assets to advance the organization's strategic development goals and priority outcomes.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Education, Experience & Skills
- Education: High School diploma or GED required; individuals currently pursuing or holding a degree in non-profit management, marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field are highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong aptitude for storytelling, proofreading, and professional correspondence.
- Photography & Editing: Basic to advanced knowledge of camera operation and photography techniques; experience with photo editing software preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Excel) and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and web content management systems (CMS) is a distinct advantage.
- Database Experience: Prior experience tracking metrics or navigating database systems/CRM platforms is highly preferred.
- Logistical Management: Proven ability to organize workloads, multitask efficiently under a part-time schedule, and maintain self-sufficiency across multiple operating sites.
- Travel Requirements: Must possess a valid State Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation to execute essential local errands and navigate seamlessly between the three operational locations.

Competency Areas:
Donor Stewardship & Database Integrity
- Stewardship Execution: Assist with comprehensive donor stewardship efforts, including the prompt drafting and mailing of thank-you letters, organizing donor recognition perks, and coordinating seasonal or birthday cards to build long-term donor loyalty.
- Gift Processing & Data Management: Maintain absolute data integrity by accurately inputting contributions, tracking sponsorship pledges, and updating constituent records within the donor management database/CRM system.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support for ongoing campaigns, generate accurate baseline giving reports, and assist leadership with sponsorship solicitation and donor cultivation activities.
Community Partnerships & Marketing Outreach
- Fundraising Partnerships: Coordinate, schedule, and promote local profit shares and community fundraising partnerships with regional businesses and corporate allies in collaboration with Dir of Marketing & RD.
- Corporate Relations: Support operational relationship-building efforts through scheduled administrative touches and collaborative preparatory work for site visits with current and prospective corporate partners.
- Public Ambassadorship: Represent the Club professionally at community events, local networking opportunities, outreach initiatives, and public tabling opportunities to champion youth development.
Digital Media & Impact Storytelling
- Social Media Management: Assist with the collaborative planning, creation, graphic design, and scheduling of engaging digital media content across all approved social media channels.
- Website Management: Manage standard website updates, event landing pages, and general digital content blocks to maintain current operational visibility in coordination with Dir of Marketing & RD.
- Impact Documentation: Proactively collect, write, and develop member success stories, multi-site testimonials, and localized impact reports for use in diversified marketing, newsletters, and fundraising collateral in alignment with Dir of Marketing & RD.
Multi-Site Operations & Logistics
- Logistical Support: Assist with event preparation, execution logistics, and localized operational errands, including signage pickup, post office runs, and multi-site supply transportation.
- Productive Environment: Maintain consistent, open communication with club leadership and actively participate in designated operational staff meetings.
Position Details & Application Instructions This is a part-time role offering 20–30 hours per week, with seasonal flexibility. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Regular travel between our various site locations is required.
