Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid – Primarily Remote, with occasional onsite meetings approximately once per month)
Schedule: Standard Business Hours
Duration: 2-Year Contract Assignment (Potential for Conversion)
Pay Rate: $45-$50/hour

You'll work closely with engineers, project teams, and subject matter experts while managing documentation throughout its entire lifecycle—from creation and review to publication and ongoing updates.
What You'll Do
- Research, write, edit, and maintain technical documents, procedures, and process documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather and organize information
- Ensure documents meet quality, formatting, style, and compliance standards
- Manage document revisions, approvals, publication, and version control processes
- Support the publication of documentation across multiple platforms and formats
- Track documentation through the full project lifecycle
- Review content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and usability
What We're Looking For
- Experience in technical writing, technical editing, documentation, or related fields
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word
- Experience with SharePoint, document management systems, or content management tools is a plus
