We’re hiring an integrated Freelance Senior Art Director/Designer for part time work with us in Q2-Q3 2026. Our ideal candidate will have a portfolio of integrated campaigns which showcase the craft of Art Direction and Design across mediums. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on a variety of projects. This freelance role can be remote in the Chicago area and the hourly rate is in the range of $60-$90 hour.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the brand across all platforms
- Craft compelling integrated work in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams
- Concept and develop creative that is relevant to the consumer at each touchpoint of their journey
- Present work to stakeholders with a strong POV, rooted in insights
- Translate client requirements into on-brand creative solutions
- Be a stickler for detail, modeling a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment
- Report into Creative Leadership, keeping them informed on the progression of projects
- Bring an inclusive and open mindset to all you do
Requirements
- Availability up to 40 hours per week during Q2 and Q3 2026
- 5+ years of advertising agency experience in art direction and design
- Creative Art Direction/Design Portfolio of integrated campaigns
- Adobe Creative Suite and Figma expertise required
- A deep understanding of how to apply brand guidelines to ensure a strong and consistent look at every touchpoint
- Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Individual Contributor and collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree required; portfolio school a plus
