We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to support fast-moving social initiatives for consumer-focused brands in Collierville, Tennessee. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who stays ahead of platform trends, enjoys creating engaging content, and can keep multiple channels organized and active. The right person will combine creative instincts with strong execution, helping expand audience reach while partnering closely with marketing and creative teams.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily activity across several social media profiles, ensuring each channel stays current, consistent, and aligned with brand goals.
• Build and manage content calendars, coordinating publishing timelines and keeping scheduled posts on track.
• Identify relevant influencers, assist with outreach efforts, and help develop partnerships that support brand visibility.
• Produce and refine social assets such as simple graphics, post variations, and short-form creative using Canva and similar tools.
• Write compelling captions and contribute clear, platform-appropriate copy that encourages interaction and engagement.
• Track emerging trends, popular content formats, and platform updates across Instagram and TikTok to inform content decisions.
• Respond to rapid-turnaround content needs by preparing social materials efficiently and accurately.
• Partner with internal marketing and creative teams through collaboration tools to keep campaigns moving smoothly.
• Support on-site photo, video, or content capture needs when additional brand content is required.
• Maintain organized workflows using scheduling and project management platforms to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, influencer marketing, and current social media best practices.
• Experience creating social content with Canva and adapting assets to proper platform dimensions and format requirements.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to craft engaging captions and concise social copy.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and perform well in a fast-paced environment with limited direction.
• Demonstrated understanding of trends, reels, algorithms, and engagement-focused content strategies.
• Portfolio that highlights social posts, graphics, captions, or other content designed to drive audience interaction.
• Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, social scheduling platforms, or related social media management software.
• Background in eCommerce or consumer brands, along with exposure to influencer coordination, paid social, or basic image editing, is preferred.
