Technical Writer
We are seeking a Freelance Technical Writer for an onsite opportunity in Houston, Texas, working 20 hours per week. This role will support a major ServiceNow platform transformation by creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for business and technical audiences.
The ideal candidate is an experienced writer who can turn complex system information into easy-to-follow user manuals, process guides, knowledge base articles, and supporting documentation. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders to gather information, organize content, and produce polished materials that help end users understand new features, workflows, and system updates.
Responsibilities include drafting and editing user documentation, translating technical concepts into accessible language, maintaining documentation standards, and ensuring materials remain current throughout the project lifecycle. Experience supporting ServiceNow-related initiatives is required, along with strong interviewing, writing, and document management skills.
