The administrative assistant is responsible for performing secretarial, clerical and administrative services for one or more persons. Responsibilities include a wide variety of support activities, which frequently require independent judgment and minimal supervision. The applicant should be service oriented, professional, friendly, and enjoy our fast-paced atmosphere. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- May prepare reports and presentation materials.
- Receives and responds to correspondences.
- May assist with invoicing.
- Work with approved vendors on items.
- May need to place supply orders.
- May need to assist in scheduling meetings and/or training.
- Provide support on a variety of projects.
- Learn, teach and support technology implementations.
- Maintain all policy and procedures.
- Keep up to date on all Bank policies and procedures.
- Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Requires minimal supervision.
- Self-confidence, strong decision-making skills, and professionalism.
- Excellent client relationships.
- Strong writing skills.
- Must have a sense of urgency and be able to anticipate needs.
- Computer skills. Oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and follow directions. Industry and Work Experience:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience. Academic:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
