As our content production continues to grow, we’re building a pool of dependable freelance video editors available for on-call and per-project editing support.
Role Overview
We’re looking for entry-level freelance video editors with approximately 2–3 years of editing experience to support ongoing content production across social media, paid advertising, and YouTube content.
This opportunity is ideal for editors looking to grow their portfolio while gaining hands-on experience working with a fast-paced e-commerce brand. Projects may range from short-form social edits and paid ads to event recaps, product videos, and YouTube content.
Freelancers may be brought on for individual edits, campaign support, overflow work, or recurring monthly projects depending on workload and performance.
Responsibilities
Video Editing
Edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
Edit paid advertising creative for Meta, TikTok, and other digital platforms
Assist with long-form YouTube editing and educational content
Add captions, music, sound design, motion graphics, and transitions
Maintain consistent pacing, style, and brand messaging across content
Export and deliver platform-ready assets in multiple formats
Content Support
Organize project files and media assets
Follow creative briefs, edit references, and brand guidelines
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to meet deadlines
Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently
Creative Development
Stay current on social media trends, editing styles, and platform best practices
Help identify engaging hooks, pacing styles, and storytelling approaches
Contribute ideas for improving content performance and engagement
Ideal Qualifications
Approximately 2–3 years of video editing experience (freelance, internship, agency, or personal brand work accepted)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro required
Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, or Lightroom preferred
Strong understanding of short-form vertical content
Basic understanding of pacing, music selection, captions, and storytelling
Ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly
Portfolio or reel demonstrating editing work
Preferred Experience
Experience editing content for social media or e-commerce brands
Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta ads, and YouTube formats
Basic motion graphics and animation skills
Interest in automotive, powersports, outdoor, or lifestyle brands
Experience editing creator-style or UGC-style content
