Freelance Graphic Designer
Location: NYC Studio, Chelsea
Lucy Tupu Studio is looking for a color-loving, design enthusiast and detail-oriented human to join our team part-time in our vibrant New York studio.
We’re a boutique, design-led studio creating custom rugs, textiles, and a small collection of furniture for residential and commercial spaces. Based between New York and New Zealand, this role is in-person right in the heart of Chelsea’s Flower District.
You might be our person if you:
- Have a passion for design and a strong understanding of layout, typography, and color.
- Are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
- Bring good energy, fresh ideas, you’re open, positive, curious, and willing to share and collaborate.
- Are enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated, with the ability to keep things moving.
- Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Have an appreciation for materiality, interiors, and spatial design (a bonus, but not essential).
What you’ll do:
- Design thoughtful, visually compelling assets across print, digital, and social - from newsletters and presentations to social media and website updates.
- Support the rollout of campaigns and product launches, helping translate ideas into cohesive visual stories.
- Work closely with Lucy and the team to bring new collections and collaborations to life, from concept through to final delivery.
- Create and refine clients materials, including proposals, decks, and presentations.
- Help maintain and evolve the Lucy Tupu Studio visual identity across the studio.
Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
