Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist with developing, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) for both Harris Ranch Resort and Harris BBQ
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) for Harris Ranch Resort and Harris BBQ
- Support development of content calendars aligned with promotions, campaigns, and business goals
- Capture and edit photos and short-form video (Reels, TikTok, etc.) for marketing use
- Create social media graphics, captions, and promotional posts using Canva
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual style across all content
- Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and engagement; respond as directed
- Track performance metrics and assist with reporting
- Stay current on social media trends and contribute new content ideas
- Assist with marketing emails, newsletters, blog posts, and promotional copy
- Design graphics for digital and in-house materials (flyers, signage, menus, etc.)
- Support event marketing, including planning, promotion, on-site content capture, and setup
- Help manage marketing calendars, content libraries, and project deadlines
- Provide general marketing support and assist with additional projects as needed
- Occasional travel required for events, photoshoots, and promotions
- Perform additional marketing tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior marketing, communications, and content creating experience
- Understanding of social media trends and engagement strategies
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging captions, email marketing copy, and promotional content while maintaining brand voice
- Basic proficiency in Canva or similar graphic design platforms required, with the ability to create simple marketing graphics and social media visuals
- Photography and short-form video content creation skills required, including the ability to capture visually appealing images and video suitable for social media and marketing campaigns
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced marketing environment
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role preferred
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms
- Experience in hospitality, agriculture, retail, or multi-location environments is a plus
