Position Overview
KMP Brand is seeking a part-time Social Media Coordinator to support and grow our digital presence across multiple platforms. This is an on-site role with a flexible part-time schedule within standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm). This position is ideal for an early-career candidate who understands current social media trends and can execute content from idea to post. You’ll work directly with leadership, sales teams, and customers across the U.S. and global markets to create engaging content that supports brand growth and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Launch and manage new and existing social media channels to expand brand reach
- Capture on-site photo and video content featuring products, warehouse operations, and team activities
- Execute content from concept to final post (planning, filming, editing, publishing)
- Write clear, engaging captions aligned with KMP Brand voice
- Identify and propose content ideas based on current social media trends and platform best practices
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and key customers to co-market products, distributors, and partnerships
- Coordinate content featuring customers across the U.S. and global markets
- Develop an understanding of competitors, target customers, and KMP Brand’s existing client base
- Monitor competitor and industry content to identify opportunities for differentiation
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and basic content calendar
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Track engagement metrics and assist with basic performance reporting
- Support campaign planning and execution for promotions and product launches
- Assist with multilingual content creation and/or coordination (including dubbing or adapting content for different languages)
- Help maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging across platforms
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable using tools such as Canva, basic video editing apps, and social media scheduling platforms
- Strong awareness of current social media trends, formats, and platform behaviors
- Ability to take content ideas from concept through execution independently
- Basic understanding of what drives engagement (hooks, timing, formatting, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Interest in content creation, branding, and digital marketing
- Portfolio, personal social media, or examples of content creation work is a plus
- Experience or interest in multilingual content (Spanish or other languages) is a plus
- Comfortable being on camera or directing others for video content
- Familiarity with TikTok or short-form video platforms is preferred
- Interest in automotive, diesel, heavy-duty, or industrial industries is a plus
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (small engine parts for content creation)
- Comfortable working on-site in a warehouse and office environment
- Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with customers or capture content
- Requires fine motor skills for writing, typing, and use of digital tools
- Strong time management skills to balance content creation, scheduling, and collaboration
