We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Freelance Creative Consultant specialising in motion graphics and 2D design. The ideal candidate will bring concepts to life through engaging visual storytelling, supporting brand and campaign work across multiple platforms.
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Design and develop high-quality 2D graphics for digital and print use
- Create engaging motion graphics and animations for social media, digital campaigns, and presentations
- Translate creative briefs into visually compelling concepts and executions
- Collaborate with the creative, strategy, and marketing teams to deliver impactful visual content
- Ensure all creative outputs are aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Edit and refine animations based on feedback and revisions
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Stay up to date with design trends, motion techniques, and digital storytelling approaches
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in graphic design and motion graphics
- Strong portfolio showcasing 2D design and motion graphics work
- Proficiency in design and animation tools (e.g. Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and typography
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and execute independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in-office or hybrid in Ghana depending on project needs
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant design certifications or short courses are advantageous
